Truck and Tank Cleaning Tack is applying for a permit for its Zeebrugge site to relocate its repair department. The move to a larger building will provide more manoeuvring space.
The public enquiry for a permit application by Truck- and Tankcleaning Tack (TTT) at Koggenstraat on the Transport Zone in Zeebrugge runs from 22 February to 22 March 2024. The company wishes to rent a building on the neighbouring plot to house its current ‘repair’ or repair department.
The explanatory note notes the advantage of the larger building for more manoeuvring space. The vacated space in the current repair will be used to house additional tank containers without GHS hazard symbols.
Tank trucks and containers
TTT has operated a tank truck and tank container cleaning facility and container depot in Zeebrugge since 1991. In 2003, the company moved to its current location. Its activities include internal and external cleaning of tank containers, tankers and bulk trucks; rental and storage of tank containers (ISO tanks); heating of tank containers and tankers; repair, maintenance and handling of empty and full containers. It employs 21 people and has space for 370 tank containers.
TTT’s head office was established by the Tack family in Oostrozebeke in the late 1960s. Trucks and tanks are also cleaned there and additional waste water from third parties is treated.
