Hijacking 'Maersk Tema' fails

The container ship ‘Maersk Tema’ has arrived safely at the eponymous port of Tema after a failed attack on the vessel on Friday. This informed Bernhard Schulte Ship Management, which manages the ship, in an update. Last Friday, the crew observed two suspicious motor boats. Thereupon, the crew raised the alarm according to the prescribed procedures. The crew of 21 entrenched themselves on the bridge, after which the ship came to a standstill and there was no communication for a long time. As a result, the managing group was under the impression that there was a hijacking.
