Port+ launches Qronoport application (+ video)

Time is money. This is certainly true in shipping. Certainly the time a ship spends at the quay is precious time. “Everyone in the sector realises that there are big time gains to be made there,” explains Port+ CEO Jan Van Dooren. “There are numerous parties who have a task between the docking and departure of a ship. We were looking for ways to make all these links interact more smoothly. This is only possible if we collect and link all the data about the activities on and around the ship. That way, every party in the operation knows when to get going.”
