Shipping company NMT expands West Africa service with three new ports

NMT already offered a service to Africa in the past, with calls at Durban, Walvis Bay and Tema. So now Dakar, Abidjan and Conakry are added. Twice-monthly sailings are made from Antwerp, in addition to Bremerhaven, Teesport and Sheerness. NMT, as a member of the Stena Group, works with Glovis for the required vessels. From the ICO terminal on Antwerp’s left bank (Kaai 1249), the rolling stock ships to West Africa. Project cargo can also go with the ro-ro ships, including the Glovis Solomon, emphasises Geert Vande casteele at NMT. NMT thus jumps into the gap that arose since MSC recently stopped its ro-ro activities from Antwerp.
