Mark Scheerlinck leads first international office BuyCo

Not much has come of his planned sabbatical . Mark Scheerlinck, who left Logit One in April, recently started working bj BuyCo. That French shipping platform, founded by ex-employees of shipping company CMA CGM, is a collaborative platform for shippers nested within operational flows. From the express train towards the headquarters in Marseille, where Scheerlinck is present three days a month, he explains exactly what it entails. “From day one, all stakeholders involved in a shipment are informed about the status of the shipment and their task in the chain. The system does away with the hundreds of thousands of mails and excels that consume a lot of energy and cause misunderstandings,” he echoes.
