New faces Seafreight and marketing at Kuehne + Nagel

Bjoern Traemann (38 – first photo) has already travelled much of the world for Kuehne + Nagel before joining Antwerp this summer. As such, he has several years of experience as a sea freight manager in China on the counter, in addition to Singapore and Bahrain. After 13 years of foreign wanderings, it was time to come to Europe again. In his position as Director Sea Freight for Belgium and Luxembourg, Traemann will work mainly at the strategic level. “The difference with the Middle East is big: there I really felt like a pioneer. You really had to have your nose to the grindstone if you wanted to be sure that orders were executed correctly. In Antwerp, I find myself in a well-functioning structure with an experienced team. That’s working very differently.”
