Nazareth-based transport and logistics company Xwift continues to expand. From 1 March, the company will open a new warehouse along the E17 in Temse. It offers space for ten thousand pallets. The expansion is part of further growth.
According to Xwift, 2022 was a record year for the company and further growth is also expected this year. The Nazareth-headquartered company will therefore move into an additional warehouse in Temse from 1 March.
“The warehouse is located along the E17 Antwerp-Ghent motorway, barely 3 kilometres from the Sint-Niklaas exit. This is the perfect operating base,” says Sven Vandeputte, commercial director of Xwift.
The warehouse has a clear height of 10 metres and a surface area of 9,068 m², good for ten thousand pallets. The building has six loading docks and two sectional gates.
Growth
The new facility should facilitate the company’s continued growth. This will continue the line of recent years. In 2019, for instance, the company moved into new headquarters in Nazareth. In May last year, Xwift took over Buyl Transport from Lokeren. There are plans for a new building on the Buyl site. In September last year, another substantial investment in expanding the fleet of trucks and commercial vehicles was announced.
