The Brussels Minister for Climate Transition, Environment, Energy and Participatory Democracy, responsible for the Port of Brussels, visited the new headquarters of the ZIEGLER Group, located on the Port of Brussels estate, on Tuesday. There, he was received by Diane Govaerts, CEO and Alain Ziegler, chairman of the ZIEGLER Group. The visit is part of ZIEGLER’s return to the Brussels port area. For decades, ZIEGLER operated from the TIR Logistics Centre on Brussels Avenue de la Port, before largely moving to the Canal Logistics site in the Brussels outer port in 2016 . The headquarters remained the historic site on Dieudonné Lefèvrestraat all this time. However, after 111 years, ZIEGLER is moving to the new buildings along the canal at 11 Vilvoordsesteenweg. Operations at Canal Logistics’ warehouses, a stone’s throw from the new headquarters, will be relocated to the new site in the course of this year. Eighty jobs will be accommodated at the new site.
