Communication major Antwerp yards under 'The Great Connection' banner

The Oosterweel works may have been underway for a while, but for many Antwerp residents they remain a distant memory. The fact that the works are taking place on the left bank for the time being certainly has something to do with that. Mayor Bart De Wever (N-VA) notes that many inaccuracies are still circulating about the scope and course of the works. With the first works on the right bank on the horizon, the city said this had to change. The ‘Great Connection’ campaign bundles communication about both the road works and the canopies. It also informs citizens about the various plans to green and beautify the neighbourhoods around the Ring Road via parks along the road. From today, the campaign images are popping up in the streets, newspapers and on social media.
