In the autumn, PLDA would be completely replaced by the new Customs Declaration Management System (DMS). To best prepare you for this drastic change, BDO’s customs experts are giving information sessions. There are still places available on Tuesday 10 and Tuesday 24 October.
The transition from PLDA to DMS will take place in phases. From 30 September 2023, PLDA on exports would be replaced by EDMS (Export Declaration Management System). Unless plans change, the planned implementation date for IDMS (Import Declaration Management System) is 6 December 2023, but an actual obligation for operators would only be there from 31 December 2023.
As in the Netherlands, this will also have a major impact on the processing of your customs declarations in Belgium.
In order to prepare you for this, BDO’s customs experts will give an information session in which they will elaborate on the operation and implementation of the new Customs Declaration Management System, based on all the elements that are already known.

The first session on 26 September 2023 is now full. For the session on Tuesday 10 October 20 23, you can still book one of the last places. And due to high demand, BDO is providing additional places on Tuesday 24 October.
