Logistics service provider Manuchar is joining hands with international distribution company Falken Trade. The new joint venture marks an expansion into Poland.
The new partnership between Manuchar and Falken Trade should support Manuchar’s plans to strengthen its chemicals distribution platform and expand its global network, both geographically and in product offering. Manuchar is a specialist distributor of chemicals headquartered in Antwerp, and Falken Trade is an international trading company specialising in the supply of food additives to Central Europe.
Care
The joint venture, operating under the name ‘Manuchar Poland’, will provide solutions in the household, personal and textile care, crop nutrition and pharmaceutical industries. “By combining the strengths of Manuchar and Falken Trade, we aim to create a strong partnership that drives continuous innovation and excellence in our product and service offerings. The vision of our joint venture goes beyond business objectives and focuses on building a strong local presence in Poland and nurturing lasting relationships with customers and partners for sustainable growth and success,” Manuchar writes in the press release.
Emerging markets
Manuchar has 2,800 employees worldwide. From its headquarters in Antwerp, the company manages a local distribution network in North and Latin America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The company handles more than 4 million tonnes of goods annually and generates some $2.4 billion in sales with local operations in more than 40 countries and 160 locations.
“Manuchar is already known as a specialist in emerging markets, but we have also had a strong presence in Europe for many years. The joint venture is a testament to our commitment to growth and we look forward to working with Falken Trade to create a future characterised by excellence, resilience and mutual prosperity,” said Maurice Helsen, regional manager Europe at Manuchar.
